MASTER CLASS IN CHORUS SCIENCE
hosted by Venetsia Karamanova (chief conductor of the Bulgarian National Radio Children’s Choir and the Voices of Orpheus International Festival)
May 10, 2026, 10:00 – 13:00, Boncho Bochev Hall, Sofia, 103 Knyaz Boris I Str.
The master class is aimed at choral conductors, teachers and students of music and music pedagogy and is on the topic of:
• the structure of the young singer’s vocal apparatus;
• the development and peculiarities of children’s voices;
• the creation of choral-singing habits – posture, breathing, vocal technique, diction and ensemble;
• interpretation and the role of the text in choral art;
• selection and arrangement of a concert program;
• the role of the conductor and accompaniment in the creative process.
Participants in the master class will receive a certificate of completion, as well as the publication “Choroposnosti” – scientific studies by Venetsia Karamanova.
