Objectives:
– to popularize choral music;
– to show and popularize church chants;
– to support the creation of new creative contacts between Bulgarian and foreign choirs;
– an opportunity for repertoire exchange.
Regulations:
Bulgarian and foreign church and amateur choirs have the right to participate in the festival.
Participants in the festival are divided into two categories:
First category
– Bulgarian and foreign church choirs (mixed and homogeneous), which perform Orthodox church chants and participate in Orthodox services;
– Bulgarian and foreign amateur choirs (mixed and homogeneous), performing Orthodox church chants.
Second category:
– Bulgarian and foreign amateur choirs (mixed and homogeneous), performing secular music;
Age groups:
– first age group – up to 17 years old
– second age group – over 17 years old
Repertoire:
– I category – performances of Orthodox church chants;
– II category – performances of secular music;
All choirs and chamber ensembles from both categories perform songs with a total duration of up to 15 minutes.
It is mandatory to include:
– one song about Bulgaria at the discretion of the conductor;
– in the final for a general performance – “Ot tuka zapovce Bulgaria” and “Na mnogaya leta” (they will be provided with sheet music to all participants).

– application for participation according to the attached template;
– link to a video recording made during the current year;
– up to 5 photos of the ensemble and 1 of the conductor.
