The Milka Stoeva Children’s Choir was awarded a Golden Diploma – II degree in the category “Jazz, Pop and Contemporary Children’s Choir / C3” with a score of 93.78 points and received the special award “For the best selected repertoire” at the Victoria Cracow 2026 International Choir Competition, held from May 10 to 12 in the magical city of Krakow, Poland. Choirs from Romania, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, etc. participated in the competition.
Under the direction of Marieta Seklemova and the accompaniment of Miglena Slavova, the choir presented a program that impressed the authoritative jury: “Moonlight” – Georgi Petkov
“Viva la vida” – arrangement by Mark Brummer
“Apple tree” – arrangement by Katerina Guimont
“Dance” – music and lyrics by Robert Gibson
The expert committee that evaluated the performances was composed of: Agnieszka Trela-Jochymek, Roland Daug lala, Andreja Stucin Cergol, Magdalena Wojtas and Bernd Spitzbarth
The choir competition brought together choir formations from different countries and is among the established international music forums in Poland.
This award is a recognition of the work, talent and inspiration of the choristers, the conductor and everyone who stands behind the success of the choir.
