The Trimontium Women’s Choir represented Bulgaria at the XV World Peace Choral Festival in Vienna.

The Trimontium Women’s Choir – Plovdiv took part in the XV World Peace Choral Festival in Vienna – one of the prestigious international forums for choral art. Under the direction of Dr. Maya Yordanova and with the piano accompaniment of Diana Kaneva, the ensemble performed concerts at the United Nations (UN), the St. Peter’s Church, the MUTh concert hall and a home for the elderly.

As part of the festival program, the choristers participated in the official opening ceremony at the Vienna City Hall, as well as in a master class led by the world-famous British conductor Prof. Dr. Stephen Mark Darlington, which provided an opportunity for professional development and international creative exchange.

The festival ended with a solemn gala concert and award ceremony in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein – one of the most prestigious concert stages in the world.

The participation of the Trimontium Women’s Choir on this emblematic stage is a high recognition of the artistic level of the ensemble and a worthy presentation of Bulgarian choral art to the international audience.

The participation of the choir was made possible with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv.
