The international choral festival “Chernomorski zvutsi”, which is organized with the support of the Bulgarian Choral Union, was awarded a diploma of distinction by the Bulgarian Association of Employers in the Field of Culture (BAROK) and the Civic Institute.

The award was presented to the artistic director Dr. Valentina Georgieva during the official ceremony held at the 10th national conference “Access of young people to culture” in Expocenter Flora in Burgas on August 12 and 13. Dr. Georgieva presented the activities of the Association “Musical World-Balchik” through her presentation “With energy and love for the voices that inspire tomorrow”.
22 formations took part in this year’s edition of the international choir festival. The Grand Prize in the competition, as well as the Special Award of the BHS for the best performing Bulgarian choir, was won by the People’s Choir at the National School of Arts, Prof. Veselin Stoyanov” Ruse with the talented Diyan Ivanov as chief conductor.
