The main aim of the Festival is to promote songs written by Bulgarian composers for children’s vocal groups, children’s and youth choirs and individual performers from 6 to 20 years of age.
The theme of the festival is broad – it should reflect the diversity of the children’s world and educate children in moral virtues and love of music and singing.
The festival also includes a Children’s Choir Song Performance Competition by a Bulgarian composer nominated by the organisers. Those participating in the Competition may include one of the songs announced on the website or another song of similar difficulty by the composer chosen for the year.
