The project “The Children’s Choir of Bulgaria” of the Bulgarian Choral Union has been nominated in the Bulgarian National Radio’s “Musician of the Year” for Musical Project of the Year 2021. This once again proves the great importance of this initiative for the future of choral art in Bulgaria.
Within the framework of the project, workshops were held in 15 cities of the country with the participation of various local ensembles. On the 3rd of July in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, accompanied by the Sofia Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, the final concert was held with over 400 children on stage, with special guests Edelina Kaneva, Orlin Goranov, Mila Mikhova and Mikhail Mikhailov.
This is the 31st consecutive time that the Bulgarian National Radio’s national poll has been held. Until the end of February 2022 everyone can cast their vote once at muzikant.bnr.bg
