XVIII choir festival “Yanko Mustakov”in Svishtov

There are only a few days left until the eighteenth edition of the choir festival in Svishtov. The concerts will take place from May 30 to June 1. On the stage of the PBNCH “Elenka and Kiril D. Avramovi 1856” will perform:

First Bulgarian Choir “Yanko Mustakov” – Svishtov;

Children’s choir “B. Golemanova” – Botevgrad;

Mixed choir “Tsarevets” – V. Tarnovo;

Children’s choir “Prof. G. Dimitrov” – Yambol;

Children’s choir “Milka Stoeva” – Burgas;

Mixed choir “P. Staynov” – Kazanlak;

Bulgarian National Radio Choir – Sofia

Women’s choir “Camera” – Braila, Romania;

The holidays will be opened with a traditional procession from Svoboda Square to the house where Yanko Mustakov – the creator of the first Bulgarian secular choir – lived. In addition to the performance in the community center hall, the choirs will also perform a program with church music in the “St. Trinity” church / “Hr. Pavlovich” street / on June 1 at 11:00.

The choir celebrations are organized by the Municipality of Svishtov and the “Elenka and Kiril D. Avramovi 1856” – Svishtov, with the support of the Bulgarian Choral Union.
