Krasimira Tsutsumanova graduated from the South-Western University “Neofit Rilski”, Blagoevgrad in 2005 with a degree in “Pedagogy of Music Education”. In 2010 she graduated from the Master’s program in “Chorus Conducting” at the New Bulgarian University under Venezia Karamanova. In 2013 she specialized in Choral Conducting at the State Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” under Prof. Teodora Pavlovich.
From 2007 to 2011 she worked as a choirmaster in the choir formation “Children of Orpheus”. From 2009 to the present she has been a music teacher at the 91st German Language High School “Prof. Konstantin Galabov”, where she restored the school choir, which she still leads today. With this ensemble she has performed a number of concerts in the country and actively participates in creative exchange with performing ensembles from Germany and Austria, with a number of concerts in both countries.
In 2014, she was invited to take over the leadership of the University Ensemble for Early Music at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, which ensemble she still leads at the moment.
In 2020, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Children’s Musical in the Work of Bulgarian Composers from the Second Half of the 20th and the Beginning of the 21st Century (Problems in Vocal Interpretation by Child Performers)” at the Southwestern University “Neofit Rilski”, Blagoevgrad.
